Bute Agricultural Society president Willie Robertson presented a cheque for £250 at the organisation’s recent AGM to Rothesay Primary School’s garden project.

Mrs Maureen Shaw, depute head for pre-5 to P5 at Rothesay Joint Campus, and a small group of pupils went along to accept the cheque, which will allow the school to continue teaching children how to grow and care for plants and vegetables at the school’s garden.
