Cats Protection fun day at Ettrick Bay

Fun and games await at Ettrick Bay on Saturday, November 3, with a special lunch at the tearoom, all in aid of Cats Protection.

Branch co-ordinator Mary Millar told us: “Since our branch opened on November 1, 2011, we have taken in 14 stray or abandoned cats from Bute. We have put over 20 cats through our TNR programme - trap, neuter, return - and we have issued over 20 neutering vouchers to Bute residents.

“Everyone is welcome and all proceeds will go to Cats Protection.”

In addition to the lunch, provided by Ettrick Bay Tearoom, there will be face-painting and other activities, as well as the chance to meet the Cats Protection mascot!

The event will run from 12-2pm, and Cats Protection look forward to seeing you there.
