Bute to be Totally Locally

VISITBUTE will be hosting a Totally Locally evening in Print Point next week, showcasing to local business owners and invited guests how the project can assist in showcasing the island’s great independent businesses.

The Rt Hon Michael Moore, Secretary of State for Scotland, will be visiting Bute that day, and he will be joining those present to open up the evening with a talk on rural economies, before opening up the floor for questions.
This will be followed by a brief history of ‘Totally Locally’ with a powerpoint presentation to generate discussions about getting started.

Tourism officer for Bute, Leo Plaster, will be in attendance, as will various other directors of VisitBute, as well as invited businesses owners from the island.

* There will be more from this event in an upcoming edition of The Buteman.
