Bute-made furniture to go on show at Glasgow exhibition

Bute furniture-maker Ray Beverley will be among the exhibitors at a prestigious exhibition at a Glasgow gallery next month.

The Art of Furniture Art is at the Lighthouse in the city’s Mitchell Lane from October 5-21, and will be opened by the former Scottish Conservative leader Annabel Goldie MSP.

The exhibition is the annual showcase of work by members of the Scottish Furniture Makers’ Association, a progressive group of furniture designers and makers who aim to offer innovative pieces which are well made, practical and functional but can also be appreciated as an art form.
