Bute Legion branch receives raffle donation

Members of the Isle of Bute branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland visited a sheltered housing complex in Rothesay this week to accept a donation from the residents there.
Ferfadd Court’s residents raised £203 in their annual Christmas raffle and decided to split the proceeds between the local branches of the RBLS and Cancer Research UK.
Hector di Giuseppe, a Burma Star veteran who lives at Ferfadd Court, presented the Legion cheque to branch vice-president Bill Bicker and secretary Mark Lingard.
