Bute is the place to be. That much is clear from a new leaflet campaign, courtesy of Argyll and the Isle Tourism Co-operative, which lists the island as a key destination within the region.

As we reported in February of this year, AITC has been working to promote the area to the rest of the country and beyond. Following a payment of £2000 to AITC from VisitBute, the island has been included in 350,000 leaflets produced by the organisation, and is also the subject of a ‘destination’ leaflet, focusing solely on Bute, with 50,000 copies ready for potential visitors.

In addition to the ‘destination’ leaflet, AITC have produced 485,000 sector-specific leaflets covering eight different topics such as golf, castles, prehistoric sites and long distance trails - and Bute features in all relevant leaflets.
