Apple Tree win award from Big Lottery Fund

Michael Russell, MSP for Argyll and Bute, has congratulated Apple Tree Nursery on an award from the Big Lottery Fund’s 2014 Communities programme.

The Mackinley Street nursery will be using the money - £755 - to fund a mini gym air walker, rowing machine, tread mill, twister, trampoline, fitness bike, body bench, mini stepper.

Mr Russell said, “This is an excellent project and this funding is wholly deserved. I have written to congratulate all concerned and I am looking forward to possibly visiting them in the near future to see what they do first hand.
