North Bute Primary School’s Nativity this year was called, ‘It’s a Cracker’ - and it certainly was!

A family dinner set the scene on Thursday, December 17 in Port Bannatyne Village Hall, with mum busy in the kitchen preparing the Christmas dinner, the children being fussy and impatient, and poor old Mrs Tilly just looking for a “wee cup ‘o tea”.

As the crackers are pulled at the dinner table, the story of Jesus’ birth is slowly unwrapped - and it wouldn’t be a Nativity without a few modern updates along the way!
