IN PICTURES: Achievement Bute’s ‘Play in a Day’

Children from Achievement Bute’s ‘Dramabox’ club showed off their theatrical talents on Friday at a ‘Play in a Day’ event at Rothesay Joint Campus.

The children involved have been creating characters for a play since February - but they’ve been split into four separate groups while doing so, and Friday morning at Rothesay Joint Campus was the first time the whole thing came together and each group found out what the others had been doing.

After a frantic day of learning lines, stage direction and making and trying on costumes, the cast of Vikings, future scientists, Victorians and Mythical Creatures took to the stage that evening to perform the finished work in front of an audience of proud parents, family and friends.
