The Kingarth and Kilchattan Bay Improvements Committee held a barbecue on the pier recently, and some of the children on holiday at the bay decided to join in the fun by making KBoodlies and selling them to tourists, to help the fund for pier improvements.

A KBoodlie is a ‘model’ made from anything found on the beach, with googily eyes stuck on.

They raised in excess of £25 and presented this to Margaret Lamb, the KKBIC treasurer at the barbecue, which was very well attended by both bay residents and holiday makers.
