Members of the community are being encouraged to take part in a short survey as part of a review of VisitBute and the island itself as a tourist destination.

The survey is being carried out by Helen Dick, development agent for Cowal and Bute acting on behalf of Argyll and the Isles Tourism Cooperative.

Ms Dick said: “I am keen to get as many views as possible on how the area is currently marketed as well as how effective VisitBute is at promoting the island. “This online survey should take no longer than ten minutes to complete and is completely anonymous – although you can choose to register your details should you wish to do so.

“In the last couple of months, VisitBute has undergone changes and the new board members are keen to review what is important to businesses on Bute and to learn how VisitBute can perform better for its members.

“This is your chance to have your say about how we work with you to promote tourism on Bute.”
