Have a Snow Ball!

As the festive season fast approaches, just in case there’s no real snow around, Achievement Bute have organized two snow-themed activities for children this weekend.

On Saturday, December 8, there’s the Christmas Snow Ball at Rothesay Pavilion from 1pm till 5pm. A fun-packed afternoon is promised with lots of snow-themed games, the Pavilion’s bouncy castle and music and dancing - courtesy of John Lilley. This event is free, but places are limited so tickets should be obtained in advance from Achievement Bute’s office at 9 Castle Street.

Then on Sunday, December 9, as part of Mount Stuart’s Christmas Fair, children can enter the icy Realm of the Snow Queen.

This is the last of Achievement Bute’s Storyscapes events this year and a magical interactive re-telling of this classic Christmas tale is promised. Children will meet the Snow Queen, and join her helpers Mrs Jingle, Mrs Holly and Mrs Berry for a fun-filled afternoon. Sessions will be held at 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, and cost £3 per child. Children under 4 must be accompanied. Tickets can be obtained in Mount Stuart house on the day.
