The nominations are in, the campaign is in full swing - and there are only a few days left until The Buteman’s Scottish Parliament election hustings in Rothesay.

All four Argyll and Bute constituency candidates - Donald Cameron (Conservative), Alan Reid (Liberal Democrat), Mick Rice (Labour) and Michael Russell (SNP) - have accepted our invitation to come to Rothesay this Wednesday, April 13, to answer questions from Bute’s voters.

The meeting takes place at the United Church of Bute’s church centre in Rothesay’s High Street - the doors open at 6.30pm and the meeting starts at 7pm, and there’s no need to submit questions in advance.

It’ll be chaired by Rothesay resident, local Rotarian and retired Strathclyde Police officer Dan Edgar - so candidates and audience alike will have to be on their best behaviour!
