The doors of St Andrew’s Primary in Rothesay were thrown open to the public on Monday afternoon at the school’s first annual open day.

Among the attractions on show to parents and friends were a performance by the school’s P1 choir, a plant sale, guided tours of the school’s allotment, instrumental entertainment, exhibitions of artwork, and even a table of Shakespeare puppets!

Pride of place during our visit, though, went to the school’s line dancing group, who had their whole audience spellbound with a fantastic display.
