The pupils of North Bute Primary School showcased their acting, singing and dancing talents to parents and friends of the school at their Nativity play performance in Port Bannatyne Village Hall on Wednesday night.

Pupils from P1-4 did an excellent job of telling the story of Jesus’s birth, while older pupils entertained the audience with some festive songs which had everyone clapping along in time.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Nativity play without a few cheeky waves from the young actors to their watching relatives, or the odd moment where they were caught off-guard - which made the play all the more enjoyable.

After the performance all were invited to join the pupils and staff back at the school for mince pies and refreshments.
