Pupils from Rothesay Primary School attended a free screening of the smash hit Inside Out last week - but it wasn’t just about a free afternoon at the pictures.

Miss MacDonald’s P6 class went along to the Isle of Bute Discovery Centre Cinema as part of a class topic about emotions during which they’ve learned how to recognise feelings in themselves and others and how to deal with those strong emotions when they happen.

Inside Out, for those who haven’t seen it yet, tells the story of young Riley and how she struggles to cope with a sudden move from the American Midwest to San Francisco, bringing to life her conflicting emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness.
