Bute Arts Club’s annual exhibition of paintings, drawings and other visual art forms opened its doors to the public on Saturday.

The exhibition, being held in the lesser hall at Rothesay Pavilion, features works in watercolour, oils, acrylics, stained glass and other media.
Most were created by the club’s member artists over the last 12 months, although there are one or two exceptions - most notably a self-portrait by one of the club’s oldest members, Muriel Carlaw, which was painted 60 years ago!

The exhibition runs until August 12; opening times are from 10.30am-4.30pm Monday to Saturday, and 2-4.30pm on Sundays.
