It’s the morning after the night before for Richard White and assorted musicians as they assemble in Guildford Square for the Brolly Parade from 10.30am while Richard will be performing again with his Fivers at the 292 Club from 2pm.

A fun packed afternoon includes Martin Bennett’s Old Green River Band in the Glenburn Ballroom, Penman’s Jazzmen at the Victoria Hotel, and Jenny & The Jazz Cats at Gamba’s Bar.

Worthy of note are the Bute Community Swing Band at Craigmore Bowling Club, start time 12.30pm, and the All Comers Jam Session from 2.30pm in the Glenburn Bar. Later in the afternoon Craigmore features the Chicago Teddy Bears and at the Glenburn Bar is the man in the sharp suit, Anth Purdy.

The evening kicks off with Mike Whellans at Gamba’s, and Havana Swing at the 292 Club both at 8pm, while half an hour later the Glenburn Hotel gets underway with the Savannah Jazz Band upstairs and Jazz Main downstairs.

Swingology take to the floor at the Victoria at 9.30pm, and the Brownfield/Owen Swinging 6 at the Esplanade at the same time.

Further information is in the Souvenir Programme available at the festival ticket office/shop at 30-31 East Princes Street, next door to Glen’s Euronics, open from 10am to 7pm.
