Kicking off day three of the Isle of Bute Jazz Festival is the annual 11am Sunday morning service at the United Church of Bute.

This year’s service will be dedicated to former Parade Marshal, the late Jenny Brown.

Back at the Glenburn Ballroom the Brownfield/Owen Swinging 6 open at 1pm, there are 2pm starts at the Glenburn Bar for Martin Bennett’s Old Green River Band and Jenny & The Jazz Cats at Craigmore Bowling Club, with the Chicago Teddy Bears starring at the 292 Club from 2.30pm.

Jazz Main take to the stage at the Victoria Hotel at 3pm with a similar start time at the Esplanade Hotel for the fabulous singer Olivia Ennemoser accompanied by Chris Clark (guitar) and Robert Henderson (trumpet).

From 5pm at the Glenburn Bar, Penman’s Jazzmen will be providing the entertainment.

Sunday evening provides a last chance to catch up with an old favourite or a band you may not have yet seen. Look out for Swingology at the 292 Club, Havana Swing on the Glenburn Ballroom stage, Richard White’s Fivers downstairs in the Glenburn Bar, Mike Whellans at the Victoria Hotel, Anth Purdy in Gamba’s Bar, and Savannah Jazz Band at the Esplanade Hotel.

Full details are in the Souvenir Programme available at The ticket office/shop at 30-31 East Princes Street, next door to Glen’s Euronics, open from 11am to 7pm.
