Police probe Dunoon salon robbery

Police are appealing for information following a robbery at a hairdressing salon in Dunoon on Wednesday morning.

At around 1050 hours, a man threatened staff at Phemie’s Hairdressers in the town’s Edward Street with what is reported to have been a firearm and demanded money before making off with a three figure sum of money towards John Street.

He is described as white, approx 6 ft, wearing a black balaclava or woollen hat, black top and black and grey tracksuit trousers.

No firearm was discharged and no one was injured in the incident.
