Police probe drug theft from Rothesay pharmacy

Police in Rothesay are searching for a man in connection with the theft quantity of pharmacy-controlled drugs from the Lloyd’s Pharmacy branch in the town’s Victoria Street.

The male customer lifted the items from the counter at around 1pm on Wednesday March 20, and ran off before paying for them.

The man was between 30 and 40 years of age, around 5’9” tall, of slim build, with a moustache and discoloured teeth; an image was captured on the pharmacy’s own in-store CCTV camera, though not on the town centre system.

Anyone who can help trace the man can dial 101, the new police non-emergency contact number, and ask for Constable Thain at Rothesay police office.
