Two Rothesay teenagers appeared at the town’s sheriff court on Monday to plead guilty to breach of the peace charges following an incident in Havelock Terrace in which they shouted, swore, uttered threats and repeatedly kicked a fence.
Seventeen-year-old Garry Willcock, of 16 Columshill Street, and 16-year-old Tavis Rodgers, of 11 Blain Terrace, both admitted their part in an incident on the evening of July 12 in which they shouted threats towards a third teenager and called him a “f*****g grass”.
The incident followed an altercation at a flat in the town’s Columshill Street a few hours earlier.
Sheriff Ruth Anderson told both accused the matter would be dealt with leniently if they could stay out of trouble for the next six months.
