A 25-year-old man has been charged under the Telecommunications Act after an incident in Rothesay on October 15.

A 25-year-old man was arrested and charged with sending threatening messages to a 23-year-old man under the Telecommunications Act, along with a breach of the peace and an act of vandalism, after an incident in Columshill Street and High Street on Thursday, October 15.

The man was detained in custody and appeared the following day at Greenock Sheriff Court, where he was released on bail with a special condition.
