Workers at a Bute contact centre left their desks behind for a few hours this week to help brighten up the playground at a local school.

The team from Webhelp TSC added an extra splash of colour to St Andrew’s Primary when they spent the day painting an eye-catching landscape on the wall of one of the playground shelters.

The initiative is part of a partnership between Webhelp TSC and CSV, the UK volunteering and learning charity, which earlier this year saw staff from the local centre spend a day creating a sensory garden for local charity Achievement Bute.

And once again the centre’s staff were happy to get their hands dirty - this time with paint rather than soil, although the smiles on the faces of both volunteers and pupils at the end of the day confirmed their efforts had been a success all round.
