Police probe Rothesay shop charity box theft

A Cancer Research UK charity box was stolen from Ritchie's of Rothesay in Montague Street at around 4.30pm on Friday, July 4.

 

Police are appealing for information from the public after a Cancer Research UK charity box was stolen from the premises of Ritchie’s of Rothesay in the town’s Montague Street.

The theft occurred at around 4.30pm on Friday, and anyone with information can dial Police Scotland on 101 and ask for Constable Bond at Rothesay police office.

In a separate incident, a window at Woodend House on the western shore of Loch Fad was smashed between 9am on June 25 and 3pm on July 5.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Constable Brown at Rothesay police office via the same telephone number.
