Two men were arrested by police in the early hours of January 23 on suspicion of trying to board a ferry at Rothesay pier with the intention of stealing items on board.

Two men were arrested by police in the early hours of January 23 on suspicion of trying to board a ferry at Rothesay pier with the intention of stealing items on board.

 

Two men have been charged with trying to board a ferry at Rothesay pier in the early hours of the morning, with the intention of stealing items on board.

The men were arrested after an incident at 4am on Thursday, January 23. One of the men was also charged with assault, vandalism and disorder offences.

Meanwhile, another incident at Rothesay pier, this time on Sunday, January 26, led to a man appearing at Greenock Sheriff Court on Tuesday in connection with the possession of a white powder believed to be controlled drugs.
