Argyll and Bute Council’s offices will have restricted opening hours during the forthcoming festive season, the authority has announced.
Customer service points, libraries, museums and archives, will close for the festive season at 5pm on Tuesday, December 24, and will not reopen until 9am on Friday, January 3.
Residents can still contact the council about services during the holiday period by using the following telephone numbers (available on Friday 27th, Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st December 2013):

Payments – 01546 605515 (24/7 automated phone payments service is available throughout)

The council’s planning and complaints lines will not be available during the holidays but enquiries can be made online as normal at www.argyll-bute.gov.uk

For emergency death registrations, appointments will be available between 9am and 12.30pm on Monday 30th December - on Bute, Eaglesham House in Rothesay can be contacted on (01700) 501350.
