Due to a vehicle breakdown, Fyne Futures kerbside collections have been altered for the Ardbeg, Port Bannatyne, Bush and Barone Road areas this week.

Due to a vehicle breakdown, Rothesay company Fyne Futures will be adjusting kerbside collections this week.

A spokesperson for Fyne Futures said: “We would like to thank everyone for participating in recycling and for their patience as we deal with the issues with our vehicle.”

Recycling participants are being asked to put their blue bins and recycling bags out from 8am – 9.30am on their normal recycling day. However, they may notice that their recycling material is collected at separate times and potentially later than usual.

Fyne Futures will be using one green recycling truck to collect paper and card, and ReStyle’s luton van to collect plastics and tins.

The impacted routes are: Ardbeg/Port Bannatyne on Wednesday, July 30, and Bush/Barone on Thursday, July 31.
