Bute firefighters to hold charity collection

Members of Strathclyde Fire and Rescue’s Rothesay unit will be out and about in the town this Saturday, December 22, collecting for the Fire Fighters Charity.

The FFC, formerly the Fire Service National Benevolent Fund, helps support injured or ill firefighters with a range of services aimed at enhancing quality of life and supporting people in the service when they are in need.

The Rothesay retained firefighters will also be providing fire safety information, and members of the public are invited to put their names forward for a free home fire safety visit.
