Caledonian MacBrayne’s winter ferry timetables and fares come into operation this Sunday, October 21.
The timetable on the Rothesay-Wemyss Bay route is along similar lines to the last few winters; the main differences to the summer service are the lack of later evening weekend sailings, the later start on Saturday mornings and fewer sailings on Sundays, with an hourly frequency throughout Sunday afternoon and evening.
The Rhubodach-Colintraive timetable is also along similar lines to the last few winters - full details of winter timetables and fares across the network are available at the CalMac website (click on the link to the right of this article).
Meanwhile, this Saturday, October 20, is also the last day of operation for West Coast Motors’ summer-only bus services to and from Ettrick Bay.
From Sunday, Ettrick Bay services will start from or terminate at Port Bannatyne; school journeys to and from Ettrick Bay will continue to operate throughout the winter.
Timetable information is available on buses and at the West Coast Motors website (again, click on the link to the right of this article).
