A cultivation of cannabis plants - with a street value of around £2,500 - has been discovered at a Port Bannatyne flat.

Following the execution of a search warrant on Saturday, June 11 at 3pm, the property in Castle Street and a flat in Foley Park, Rothesay, were searched.

A total of 12 cannabis plants were found in the Port Bannatyne flat, and a 45-year-old man was subsequently arrested under the Misuse of Drugs Act. He was later released on bail.
