The former Rothesay Academy pupil behind a range of accessories based on Scottish slang is looking for a Bute girl to take part in her company’s next photo-shoot.
Mhairi Mackenzie’s range of Bonnie Bling jewellery and accessories is attracting a cult following among a host of TV presenters and popular musicians, including Laura Whitmore, Amelia Lily, Olly Murs and most recently Rizzle Kicks.
Mhairi also recently launched a ‘crowdfunding’ appeal, asking members of the public to contribute to the cost of a new laser cutting machine which she hopes will enable Bonnie Bling to expand at the same time as retaining its Scottish roots (click on the link to the right of this article to find out more about Bonnie Bling and the appeal).
And as a ‘thank you’ to those on Bute who have supported the company in its early stages, Mhairi has this week issued an invitation for a local girl, aged between 18 and 21, to take part in a Bonnie Bling photo-shoot on the island next month.
The winner will not only feature in the company’s new ad campaign, but will also receive their very own piece of customised Bonnie Bling jewellery.
All you need to do is to send a photo of yourself and your measurements to firstname.lastname@example.org - and to be available for the shoot on Monday, May 7.
