Wemyss Bay station and trains to get free wi-fi

Wemyss Bay is one of 25 railway stations in Scotland where free wi-fi access will be introduced by the middle of 2014.

The move is the latest stage in plans to ensure travellers have free, wireless internet across the rail network by 2019, and has been made possible by Scottish Government funding of £250,000.

ScotRail began introducing free access on its flagship Edinburgh to Glasgow route last year and it is now being rolled out across the company’s fleet of express trains.
