P7 pupils at Rothesay Primary School put a range of innovative business ideas to a panel of local judges at their annual ‘Dragon’s Den’ event on Friday.

Following the format of the popular BBC TV series, each pupil designed a product, composed a pitch and made a model, and their ideas were then presented to a panel of six ‘Dragons’ who gave up their afternoon to grill the pupils on their product.

The six ‘Dragons’ - George McKenzie, Alec Bennett, Denise McMillan, Lorna Campbell, Stuart Shaw and Ryan McKellar - presented three awards for the best pitch, to Molly Power, Connor Aksu and Eilish MacNeil; two awards for the most innovative idea, to Alex Wasley and Katlyn Cairney; and two for ‘most likely to invest’, to Amy Simpson and Olivia Kell. Well done to all the pupils and the Dragons for their efforts!
