The deadline for the Argyll, Bute and the Islands Rural Innovators Awards is fast approaching. Projects from the Argyll and Bute area can only be nominated in this category until August 30, 2014.
The Scottish Rural Parliament is looking for innovative and successful projects from Argyll, Bute and the Islands to be showcased at the Rural Parliament in Oban in November.
The Rural Innovators Awards are a competitive national awards scheme designed to promote the best projects tackling rural challenges in an innovative way from across rural Scotland. There are six national award categories which match the key themes for the Rural Parliament as well as the Argyll, Bute and the Islands Award category.
To nominate a project it must tackle a rural challenge with success and innovation.
To nominate a project for an award, please contact email@example.com by August 30 with the subject heading ‘Awards-Argyll’ and details of why they deserve the award.
The winner will be announced at the Local Scottish Rural Parliament Event in Oban on September 17. They will receive a paid for place at the National Scottish Rural Parliament Event in November, including all expenses.
