The Victoria Hotel in Rothesay will be the venue for a 'business briefing' with Argyll and Bute Council's head of economic development on Tuesday, December 15.

Small and medium-sized businesses on Bute will have the chance to put their questions to Argyll and Bute Council’s head of economic development at an event in Rothesay next month.

Fergus Murray will host one in a series of informal business briefings being held across the council area at the Victoria Hotel in Rothesay from 12 noon to 1.30pm on Tuesday, December 15.

Mr Murray, who is in charge of strategic transportation as well as economic development for the council, will explain how the council is attempting to encourage more people to live in, work in and invest in Argyll and Bute.

The sessions are an opportunity for small and medium sized business owners to put their questions to Mr Murray, raise any issues that impact their business, and to network with other businesses in the area.

The council’s Business Gateway team will also be on hand to talk about the support they offer. Anyone wanting to attend should email business.gateway@argyll-bute.gov.uk or call 01546 604 555.
