Rothesay’s Alliance for Action is asking members of the public to take a few minutes to answer some simple questions on the economic future of the island.

The ten questions, giving you the chance to choose from a short list of the top priorities for making Bute a better place for residents and visitors, can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/r/helpmakeButebetter and should take just ten minutes to complete.

The Alliance was set up earlier this year following a public meeting in Rothesay which sought ideas from the public on ways of growing Bute’s population.

Further public events in September and October whittled those ideas down to the most significant - or most frequently suggested - and the survey, which will remain live until December 11, gives members of the public the chance to say which of the items on that shortlist are the most important.

More than 60 individuals, public sector groups, private businesses and community representatives are currently on the Alliance’s email list - to find out more, and to get involved yourself, drop an email to Brian MacDonald from the Scottish Urban Regeneration Forum at brian@scotregen.co.uk.
