The megayacht Eclipse belonging to Russian billionaire and Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich cruised into Rothesay Bay on Thursday afternoon.
The world’s second-largest private yacht attracted much attention when she anchored off Greenock on Wednesday, and the same is sure to apply during her time in Rothesay Bay.
Built in Hamburg and delivered to Mr Abramovich in December 2010, the yacht is estimated to have cost around €340 million.
Her facilities include two helicopter pads, 24 guest cabins, two swimming pools, several hot tubs, and a disco hall.
She is also equipped with three launch boats and a mini-submarine which is capable of submerging to 50 metres. Approximately 70 crew members are needed to operate the yacht and serve the guests.
It is not known whether Mr Abramovich is on board.
