Visits to Rothesay by the ‘blood bank’ are to become an annual occurrence, the service has said.

A Bute resident, during a recent visit to the donation centre in Glasgow, told us that staff at the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service had advised him the ‘bank’ would only be calling on the island once a year in the future, instead of three times as in the past.
