Neil Sutherland Architects will share their experience and explain the plans for the community forest at 7pm, Thursday, July 21, 2011, at the Pavilion Café.
Appointed to the Bute Forest project in March after an 8-week tender process, the Inverness-based firm has extensive knowledge and experience in community woodlands, with a clear focus on sustainable, ecologically sound building that is ‘fully integrated with the landscape and appropriate to its context.’
Forest Project Manager, Reeni Kennedy-Boyle says, “This presentation will provide real insight into the development of community woodlands and the process involved. Importantly, it will be a chance for the community to ask questions.
“We are really pleased to be able to give everyone the opportunity to meet the architects and find out more about how we will work together to develop our forest”
