Pupils at Rothesay Academy raised money for the Yorkhill Children’s Foundation at a pool competition in the school on Saturday.

Sixteen competitors did battle for a trophy donated by the competition’s sponsors, Nadia’s Hair and Beauty, on a table provided by Tommy Walmsley from the Golfers Bar in Rothesay.

The tournament was organised by a group of pupils working towards a Youth Achievement Award, and Academy youth worker Ailsa Cassidy told us that the competition, if successful, could turn into an annual event.
