Ronald McDonald House at Yorkhill is looking for brave participants for a charity abseil later this year from the Forth Rail Bridge.

Glasgow-based charity, Ronald McDonald House, is looking for brave souls to abseil from the iconic Forth Rail Bridge to raise money.

The charity, which provides free accommodation to families from all over Scotland while their child undergoes treatment at Yorkhill hospital, has provided support to a number of Bute families over the years.

The abseil-event will also tie in with celebrations for the 125th anniversary of the bridge, making the 165ft drop to the beach below an extra-special one.
