A stylish night at Rothesay Joint Campus

Over 100 guests packed into Rothesay Academy on Wednesday evening for the annual Argyll College UHI Hair show.

Opened by Rothesay Joint Campus Principal, Wendy Brownlie, the show offers all Bute students studying hairdressing through Argyll College UHI – at both SVQ 2 and Skills for Work levels – the opportunity to showcase their individual skills and talents.

The students enthusiastically embraced the Vintage Lady Gaga to Glam Rock themes with fantastic displays of style and colour all individually created on the night.

The Academy’s Skills for Work Hospitality students were on hand to support their fellow students with refreshments and home baked cakes and the evening’s musical accompaniment came courtesy of the voices of Layla Templeton, Beth Swan and Stuart Gilchrist and the sounds of local band Chunky and the Kitkats.
