VIDEO: Kerrycroy dip closes Bute swimming conference

Open water swimming enthusiasts from all over the world descended on Bute at the weekend for the global conference of the World Open Water Swimming Association.

The conference, being held in Scotland for the first time, was hosted by the Isle of Bute Discovery Centre and featured a series of talks, presentations and awards ceremonies all day on Saturday and also on Sunday morning.

At the conclusion of the conference itself, participants headed to Mount Stuart for a guided tour of the historic house, before a short hop to nearby Kerrycroy for a two kilometre open water swim in which a number of island residents also took part.
