With shinty’s Camanachd Cup final taking place this Saturday, this week’s picture includes the two pairs of Bute brothers who won the coveted trophy with Glasgow Mid Argyll in 1973.

Behind the trophy is the captain, Iain McMillan, with twin brother Robert the second player from the left in the back row.The goalkeeper is John (Sponge) Duncan, with brother Lyn (Tommy) Duncan, second from the right in the back row.

GMA defeated Kingussie 4-2 in the final in Fort William, with Robert McMillan scoring the second of their goals, and all four brothers playing starring roles.

The 2015 cup final sees Kyles Athletic take on Lovat at Mossfield Park in Oban on Saturday afternoon at 2.15pm.
