Mount Stuart was a hive of activity today at their annual Christmas Fair. In the Marble Hall and Armoury their food and craft market was busy with shoppers hoping for an unusual find for someone on their Christmas list, and children were entertained at Achievement Bute’s ‘The Realm of the Snow Queen’ performance in the crypt.
Little ones were also treated to a visit with Santa Claus at Santa’s Grotto, in association with Print Point.
In addition to all of this, there was carolling with the island’s three primaries, dancing by Margaret Anne Speirs School of Dance and music by Transclyde Music. Many visitors also enjoyed a wee mulled wine and mince pie to get them into the Christmas spirit.
