Timetable change on Bute ferry service
Ferry travellers sailing between Rothesay and Wemyss Bay are being advised that a number of minor timetable changes will take place to improve connectivity with trains at Wemyss Bay from the start of the new summer service on March 29.
The changes, which apply to the Monday-Saturday timetable, are as follows:
- The 0800 Wemyss Bay–Rothesay sailing will depart 5 minutes earlier at 0755, arriving in Rothesay at 0830;
- The 0845 Rothesay–Wemyss Bay sailing will depart 5 minutes earlier at 0840, arriving in Wemyss Bay at 0915.
The timetable of West Coast Motors’ Kilchattan Bay-Rothesay bus service will also change by five minutes to accommodate connections with the 0845 ferry sailing from Rothesay.
